EBP sensor / tube assembly

Does anyone know if you can buy the ebp sensor/ tube assembly as a unit and if so who carries it. Or do you have to purchase tube seperatly from cover which came from the front of the gear drive from in front of the hpop. There is a pic from terminator's site. Picasa Photo Gallery > Terminator Install > Shot of the EBP sensor / tube assy removed from the enigne. ( Picasa template by www.paulvanroekel.nl ). I am in the process of putting things back together and can't get it finished until this is fixed. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

They are separate part numbers. Your local dealership will probably have to order them. You can put a npt plug (1/4 inch IIRC) in the manifold if you need to drive the truck. It won't hurt anything to drive it with the sensor unplugged.

I left the sensor on, took the tube off and capped the manifold fitting. So for runs great and no codes tripped.

thanks for the ideas, but i found some jb weld and smeared a good coating around the tube. Thanks. On to another situation, how do you get the 95 lb torque on the gear drive bolt? I can't get the gear inside to remain still. I don't think I already have the correct torque. Ideas?? Thanks again.

Witch bolt are you talking about? The one on the crank, cam, or HPOP? If it's one of the other two you can hold the crank with another wrench. If it's the one on the crank, I use a flywheel turner to hold the flywheel. It is a special spanner like wrench made to grip the teeth on the ring gear.

Thanks for the suggestions. Apparently while I was inside typing in my question to the Forum here, the guys I work with managed to get it snugged up enough using good old "firefighter engineering"!! I had it where when tightening, it was to the point of turning the motor, but was not sure if that was good enough. They managed to rig something up and were able to get a couple more pulls on the bolt thru the drive gear. I hope everything is good to go now. Will have to wait and see tomorrow after I drive home from the station. Thanks again to everyone!!!
