I am still having dash problems, i have no guages and the alternator is not charging, everything else works fine. I checked all the fuses and relays in the truck and changed the ignition switch un the dash on the steering column, I had the alternator checked and its fine. I dont know what else to have checked or what it could be. does anybody have a clue of what it could be? Ford said it would take 4 weeks to get it in the shop and i would like to use my truck before then. Any help would be great thanks.

I had the very same issue that arose one day driving home. Low voltage, system not charging, radio/headlights would dim every time I used more voltage (aka power chair, windows etc) and gauges didn't work. I thought I checked every fuse, but it turns out I didn't. It was one of those funky pinkish colored square ones with the clear top. I was so positive I had checked them all and found none to be bad, but I checked again anyway. Be sure to re check the fuses, it can be easy to miss.
thank you i"ll try that again i think i may know which one it is it had a high ohms resistance more so that the others but it wasnt open i'll bet its that one
