My daughter is graduating in two weeks, she's going to attend the local community college for two years, then transfer to a multi-media program for television and advertising.
Russ & Steve pass our Congrats on to your children. Russ I'm a BIG UNLV fan, & have been for many many years. I wear UNLV clothing as much as possible when in Reno. I can't stand UNR. Chris Ault is a jerk that won't recruit local high school stand outs & hasn't for years. I have known kids in Northern Nevada that not only UNLV wanted but schools like Boston College, Nebraska, Oklahoma, & other wanted. Yet Ault wouldn't even look at them.
Michelle, We are leaving for Laughlin this weekend. Summer has left Fallon again. Cloudy & cool. Reno was much less wind & clouds today. Nice day in Reno. We had dinner in the Steak House @ Stockmans. It was really good. I was surprised to be honest. I hadn't eaten in there since the 80s.
I added some pictures of our Monday adventure. This a remote area on the Nevada California border. Our friends had to walk out 12 miles the night before to a campground. It took us 2 hours to travel in those 12 miles with 4x4s. Extremely rough, steep & rocky. We were at 9000 ft. I have played in this area for years it is in the wife's & mine back yard growing up. I had been in there since the 90s.
Craig
Morning Steve. Cool pics Craig, would be nice to have mud like that down here once in awhile. Seeing the camp chair and cooler to the left of the FJ, it looks like it was in there for a while. lol

No, we went up the afternoon of the morning they got to the campground. The only reason three tires aren't buried is because they spent a few hours digging them out & getting brush & rocks under them. They just couldn't get that back left up. It was a spot that was bottomless with mud. So I'm sure the wife was resting. It was a great trip.
Steve, we couldn't get the full size Chevy 4x4 into where the Blazer is. He had street tires going between those trees was just slick as snot plus a snow bank a little further back. That rope was 2" x 100 ft. We had to add chain & a tow strap to reach.
Good Evening Nevada. We are enjoying 100+ degree weather in Bullhead City. Not really looking forward to returning north. We are making reservations to return in couple of weeks. I'm going to enjoy summer one way or the other.
