Anyone having issues with iTouch or iPhone with respect to music Sync? Everytime I turn the truck on it recognizes it as a "New Device" and proceeds to index for the next half hour. Sync says reset Sync (did that) and reconnect device (apparently ever time). No other info except their site says may have undefined issues with latest Apple firmware. Of course old Nano works fine, but less than 4GB of music at that point.
Even with the Nano, every time the truck is restarted, Sync has no idea what it was doing before (e.g. playing a specific playlist) and just picks up with the artist or album alone.
I have no problems with the iPod Classic, but I've only connected through the bluetooth with my iPod Touch. If I can remember tomorrow, I can try to take my Touch out there tomorrow and see how it fares. I've actually gotten into the habit of using my USB jump drive in the slot and it allows for the same voice commands as the iPods.

Smart man. I realize the iPod is supposed to be compatible and you might hit a firmware/software version that will work, but it's just not worth the hassle.

I don't think my Classic is up to the latest firmware version, so that might have something to do with how it works so wonderfully. I actually find it a little more convenient with the jump drive due to the fact that I don't have a wire that I have to deal with. Plus a 16GB jump drive can handle most road trips that I would take and back to were I could change out the content. I mainly listen to OTR and NTR. Only problem is that is that I have converted some MP3 to the MP4(or AAC depending on which one you are talking about) to get the "bookmarking" function, but it won't play those off the jump drive, just the iPods.

I think as I have tried my touch that it is unsupported device in Sync. I use an older generation iPod for my truck, but i also tried my Ipad and Ipod through the USB and neither worked. You can still use them through the audio Jack, but I know that is a pain.
