F250SD radiators
Hello all,
New member here, thought I'd join to speak with like minded truck owners...
I have a 2000 F250SD 4x4 I bought new in 99. I like my trucks "old school" so I have the 5.4, 5 spd trans, manual locking hubs, no power anything, no air and a vinyl interior- just a truck.
I recently had Ford put in one of their re-manned motors when the original died from piston slap at 130k (long story on the piston slap issue for another time) The motor is under warranty for a few more years and 80k miles.
My radiator let loose yesterday and I got the new one home to find that it's set up for trans cooler(the original wasn't). The parts place said they're universal now and to just plug the ports and install it. I'm afraid if it's not the right radiator it'll void my motor warranty. Does anyone know if the radiators are truly universal?

See, ya need to ask the right people. Parts place said ac ports. I have no experience with trans coolers or ac so did not recognize them as such.
I'm still concerned about the engine warranty though.
