After a long struggle with ownership of a 2004 6.0 powered truck, I joined the beta testing team by buying a 2011 6.7 powered truck. I figured being an early purchaser of the new Ford built diesel had to be better than the bad luck experiences I had with the old 6.0. 300 miles in a day and a half and I am smiling big time. Incredible power, smooth operation, great ride for a 1 ton truck and hand calculated 16.1 mpg on the first tank of fuel. Pics as soon as I figure out how to post them. New sig too

Regards

Z plan - you lucky dog. I was thrilled with my X-Plan PIN but you would have saved another $2,250. Great job.

I still hang out there and will share what I have learned about the 6.0. I bought a used 6.0 truck, had some bad luck, made a bad decision or two and then had an absolutely freak thing happen at the end. I still believe the 6.0 powered truck is a great bargain in today's truck market. I just found myself in a situation where a new truck was the best option.
