Auto Shut Down
Great Site!I'm still learning how to use it hope you guys are patient.I've got a 2002 F250SD Larriet 7.3 4x crew that I just love.225.000 miles and she hasn't let me down until now.Three months ago I decided to attack a few oil and fuel leaks with Guzzles coaching I o-ringed the injectors,hpop,fuel bowl,IPR and replaced the pedestal w/non ebv,also deleted the AIH.After Three Thousand miles of trouble free running she started the auto shut down.All the advice/research lead me to the CPS,after three grey ones and now the Black IH she still shuts down,otherwise when she runs it's great.I have no idea where to go from here any input will be greatly appreciated.GB

The auto shut down comes on unexpectedly like someone turned the key off,no power gauges go blank no check engine light,it will start after a 1/2 hour or so then shut down again.I'm not sure how to check fuel pressure but I can hear the pump run at start up as I always have.I drained fuel bowl and it seemed to refill as I turned the key back on.No rain here it's been dry for quite awhile six weeks or so.

Huh!? I'm going to leave this to the guys that are more familiar with the whole electrical system. The only thing I can think of is electrical switch but that wouldn't make sense since it stays shut down for 30 minutes or so.
Can you scan the PCM and see if it has any codes stored?
