Let me give you a bump and ask if you (or anyone) have a link to the instructions for my 2002 IDM which I assume is the same as your 2000. I spent about an hour searching several PSD forums. All I found was pre-99 specific info and I kept getting side tracked reading other interesting stuff.

E-series = IDM 110. 94-97 F-series = IDM 100. 99-03 F-series = IDM 120
To convert IDM 120 to 140 you need a 73.2k ohm resistor. .5w 1%.
Digi-Key - PPC73.2KXCT-ND (Vishay/BC Components - 5033ED73K20F12AF5)
If you come up with an old IDM 100 or 110, they both take a 75k.
Digi-Key - PPC75.0KXCT-ND (Vishay/BC Components - 5033ED75K00F12AF5)
To convert IDM 120 to 140 you need a 73.2k ohm resistor. .5w 1%.

If you come up with an old IDM 100 or 110, they both take a 75k.

IDM resistor change???
What does this mod do, specifically??? Did different year trucks have different IDMs? Could you just put a different IDM in instead of modifying one? Is this one of the ways Ford increased horsepower to 250 in 2003 or was it 275 hp. In fact what are all the differences between a 1999 1/2 @ 230hp and a 2003 @ 275hp? does anyone know for sure?

early '99 had 110v
'99.5-up had 120v
