Allright guys and gals....I think I covered everything I know about the subject with this gallery. Look it over and let me know if there is anything I need to add to make it better.

Looks good Scott excluding the time you took to mod the IDM the R&R only took about 45 mins. I will get a hair cut sometime soon.

Thanks for bringing your truck over and spinning wrenches so I could take pictures. The second IDM took me about 30 minutes, so it was really a pretty quick project.

You're the guy we've been waiting on for the stock injector/140 IDM results. Think it's a worthwhile project?

Nice writeup Scott. I know you said the pic is blurry, but it looks like a pic after the old resistor was removed and before the new was put in. For the life of me I cannot even imagine seeing something there? Other than that it looks simple enough I could screw it up.

Who is the hippie in the pic?

Great write up Scott very detailed, rep sent for such a great write up.

I am curious as well you don't hear about this mod that often except from the OBS guys, is it really worth it?

Nice tutorial. So for those of us not on the up-and up- where to get the resistors? What did you use to seal the IDM back up? And on a 1-10 scale (1 being easy, 10 being hard) how difficult do you think this is for most of us?

I think it is, the mod on the IDM seems to make the engine run smoother and quieter and yes I feel more power at the moment it is detrimental to good fuel mileage but I will get over it and see how well it does I will fill up tomorrow. I started another thread so it would pop on stock injectors in a search. Thanks again Scott I can't rep you right now but the next time your over the will be several COLD FROSTY ones waiting for you.

Can't see the resistor because it's tiny....I tried 4 times to get a clear shot, no joy. Sorry Digi-Key - PPC73.2KXCT-ND (Vishay/BC Components - 5033ED73K20F12AF5)

Yes...IMO it is worth it.

It's about a 3 or 4 difficulty unless you don't know how to handle a soldering iron, then it probably becomes about a 6.5

Thanks for the pictorial description. Great job. Only wish I could see the pics of the resistor better. Seems simple enough to do. Curious also as to mileage benefits. Might just have to add it to my "to do" list.
