made 40 bucks at the scrapyard today, and 20 minutes later find this:



well guess ive still got 5 bucks left. 35 bucks at advanced auto

well you see the rust on that thing right? Now take that rust and picture it on 8 bed bolts. Not really THAT much easier.

Dang I love Texas, it took me a few minutes of lookin at the pic to even figure out what that was, cuz I've never even thought about a spring hanger breaking

when i did mine on my 95 both were shot i used a blowtorch to cut the rivits off and used grade 8 bolts to mount em

It is worth it and kinda scary when you have 38 gallons of fuel 3 inches away!!

man that tank hasnt had fuel in it for a good 10 years lol. Ive got another thread goin bout that tank. And yes it would be very worth it, cant count how many times ive wished i had a good torch.
