The red truck is a 2004 F250 FX4 V10 owned by 260karl.
It was more of a water hole so not a lot of mud thrown on top of the truck. We just pulled into our co-worker's pit one night after milking at about midnight.
My buddy just went to release some stress a couple weeks ago wheeling and screwed up his entire front end on his 150.. gonna cost him a couple k to fix it.
Yeah I here ya. I've some some little problems since, but it was still fun.
At one point I let off the throttle, and water kept raining down on me for atleast a whole second or two.
Glad you guys have fun mudding if that's your thing! I'm with you jchosler. The pickup is for getting the ORV to the trail! Mud and crud is just so tough on moving parts. If you get into deep stuff, and then when you spray it off, water gets past seals sometimes if you're not careful. I avoid mud like a passion if I have a choice. But there's no better truck made that can take that kinda punishment like an old Ford!!
I still avoid the mud in my buggy, I've had to do to many oil and spark plug changes from sucking up water. My old toyota has done well also, yes that buggy is my toyota
I know where one is for sale if you know anyone interested.
It has been all restored. Its red. I believe they dropped a 429 in it, but not sure on that. I know it was a 4-something, and not a 400 or 460.
The only problem is that it must have too large of a carb on it cuz it floods itself out when sitting and idling for just a few minutes.
