Need help identifying Explorer auto. transmission?
I need help identifying what type automatic transmision our 2000 Ford Explorer may have. The engine is a 4.0L V-6 ( Not the SOHC engine ). The problem I'm having is when you place it in reverse it hesitates before moving and if you want to go forward, you have to place it in 2nd then to "Drive". Any body had the same problem or any suggestions for repairing? Thanks Ron
