Hello, I have a 2003 Ford Explorer with Power Steering problems. I have read and tried all the solutions I found here, except replacing the pump. Seems like it is the pump. Oil was burnt, I flushed twice. I checked the rack and lubed as identified in another post, same jumpy hard to steer issue. Anyway, now I am trying to remove the Pump. I have removed the reservoir and am trying to remove the pump. I have the top two bolts out, but cannot get to the bottom tow bolts. How do you access them? Do I need to remove the lower radiator hose, and / or the oil filter? Suggestions appreciated.
The procedure has a lot of diagrams. If you would like a copy of the factory service manual procedure for replacing the pump on the V8, send me a Private Message with the request and an e-mail address for you.
Hey new to the forum do you still have a copy of the 03 V8 explorer PS pump procedure? It would definitely help lol. Thanks bdsavage2001@gmail

I have the 2004 service manual as well, but I need a Visitor or Private Message from you with an e-mail address (and a reminder of the request and vehicle information) in order to provide the procedure.
