So I have White face/Chrome bezel IssPro gauges that i purchased from Diesel Manor about a year ago now. Looking back on it now, I wish i would have bought the black gauges to match the factory dash gauges. Unless someone on here is willing to trade, i'm looking at getting at different options and want you guys opinions on what i shoould do and what would look best.
2. Whole new gauge cluster- I wonder, will the new 08' and above gauge cluster fit? that would be badass. they come in white and chrome too huh?
3. If someone has a nice set of black gauges that would be interested in mine, i would be willing to trade if its a simple remove and replace. i'm not sure if different gauges have different wiring/sensors.
Here is a picture of mine for reference. If I do stick with the white gauges, i'd like to match the backlighting color too.
Geez Clint, I am not really a fan of white faced gauges on these trucks, but I do like those second ones where the numbers only light up blue. Nice find! If I had black interior, that would be my choice. What would really set it off nicely is if one were to go to the graphics shop and have a vinyl decal cut out of black to go over the gauges in the shape of a bezel, that way instead of a white face blank it appears to have each individual gauge showing in white only.
OP, I do like the black faced gauges in these trucks the best, but changing the ISSPROs can be expensive. I would put on the second gauge overlays shown above and call it a day. Much less expensive, and would look really hot!
Well, i recieved my white face overlay today and they seem to be very nice. In fact , it's not your typical overlay. It came with an adjustment **** to change them from green to blue.
since ill be installing these soon, i had some questions.
How do you get access to your factory guages? do you have to remove the dash?
The clear plastic shield that covers the gauges is kinda faded and has surface scratches. Whats the best way to clear this up. i was thinking maybe like a headlight restore kit?
