front wheel bearing
So i am replacing my front wheel bearing on the passenger side and i have got all parts off EXCEPT the lock nut right before the outer bearing and i cannot for the life of me get it off. I have tried the lock nut tool, i have tried the dental pick to release the pin and NOTHING is working for me and i am getting really mad. Any suggestion or does ayone know what i am doing wrong??? Please help.

Hmm, as far as I remember, the outer nut should just come right off. Then you have some locking washers/rings behind it, an inner nut, and the bearing. The bearing will come out and then the hub can come off giving you access to the wheel seal and inner bearing.
Is it a 2wd or 4wd system? If its 4wd, did you take the outer snap ring off to pull out the 'guts'? Been a while since ive done one so I dont remember in detail but that might hold you up....

ya its a 4 wheel drive and we are all the way down to the last lock nut that needs to be removed to get the whole thing off and i have gone through 3 different wrenches trying to get the damn thing loose
