Can anyone help with a small prob. The courtesy lamp in the passenger door panel blew out in my '99 F150. Had a little trouble trying to remove the clear/red lens cover to get to the bulb but didn't want to break it. How do I change the bulb? Does the lens come off from the front? Do I need to remove the whole panel and do it from the back? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Well, haven't been into a door panel yet either. Any tricks on removal and not damaging? What type of clips hold the panel on. That will help. Thanks for the response!
You have to remove the door handle first. There's a plug right on the panel inline w/the handle. I *think* it's 10mm... Remove the upper trim on the door frame and pull up then away. It's actually very simple, yet can be difficult at the same time.
