Wink Door panel light Red/Clear??

I have just gotten my door panels removed from my LATE 1999 F350, and found that the "reflectors" are actually lenses for a light as there is a socket there and its got power but the PO must have removed the bulbs.
My lenses are RED, and thats cool in case I have my door open for traffic to see but I would much rather have a clear lens to be able to have people see better getting into the truck in the dark, is there a clear lens available may be for a later S/D?? I remember my '94 F150 had a clear lens, don't know if its the same size or not??

Ok, read it this time, Mine is 3/4 clear and 1/4 red. The light is under the clear part. It's a late 99 250.

Wink

So Ed, It looks like the ALL RED lens is more expensive and implies that its only a reflector, and the red/CLEAR one implies that IT IS an actual light and is priced cheaper?? mine must be an oddo then as it HAS working lights and the red lens.

I'm confused I guess, I have a '02 XLT CC with red lens with light sockets in the front driver and passenger doors AND red lens but no light sockets in the rear doors.

Now, you are saying that:
A. there are supposed to be light sockets in the rear and
B. you can get clear lens???

Help clear me up please...

the 13731 is the same for LH/RH

here is how it is listed in catalog, if you have the socket then someone at factory installed wrong lens. maybe.

Could the PO have had a problem with the door light switches and removed the bulbs? Just a thought.
