I Have The Dual Hayden Fans On My 95 f150 5.0 With the ac on after about 20 mins in the city they cant keep up. I hear the old Taurus fan is great but the amp draw has me worried. Can the stock electrical support the demands that it will place on it? Any recommendations on single or duals that people have had good luck with. I want to be able to drive in the summer with the ac & not have to look at the temp gauge constantly!!!!!! I'm sure this has been discussed so please excuse me repeating.
New antifreeze, thermostat, hoses...etc.
The electric fans work great but a 3G alternator upgrade should also be performed as well. I have used the Taurus fans on a mustang application and they work well especially since they are fairly close to the same size as the radiator of the stang. The trucks have taller and wider radiators and I have been using the dual fan setup from a windstar and it is much closer to the size of the trucks radiator. The plus from this is the fact that everyone wants the Taurus fan and thay can bring premium prices. I bouht a brand new in the box Windstar fan off ebay for $48.00 shipped.

The 3g's are all over ebay as kits, I got mine off the Corral in their classifieds section. In the salvage yards look for the Taurus with the 3.8 and most of the late model stangs and the big lincolns like the mkx's.
