ideling problem while in gear
okay i have a 302 bored .30 over 280duration 512lift comp cam,edelbrock rpm performer intake, holly 650cfm carb, and headers and the transmission is a 3sp c6 automatic and when you put it in gear it will idle down and die its idling at about 1800-2000 maybe i need to get a stall converter for my tranny? thanks for answers

check all your vac. lines and your pvc valve also the vac valve on the distributor (sorry cant think of the name). that's where i would start. check all your lines and check the psi on your lines too. vac leaks can do exactly what you are describing
