I have a 1991 F250 Automatic 2 wheel drive. I just changed my ignition lock and now I cannot start the vehicle or shut it off once I start it from the solenoid can anyone give me a clue on what could be the problem?
nothing has changed just changed cylinder lock. I was told that there is a electrical box or connection box arrached to the steering column that the switch power goes thru and that has to be changed??? I could not find anything.

Reason: add more info
Don't mean to post without knowing much about this topic but, I thought the ignition lock was connected to the ignition switch by a metal prop/connecting rod that runs down the length of the steering column. I Think the actual switch itself is located near the bottom of the column. If this actuating rod is not connected/slipped out it will not move the ignition switch.Or the ignition switch itself could be bad. Anybody feel free to correct me, I'm used to it.
