MAF Cleaning
I have read both articles here and on fordf150.net on cleaning the MAF and this question came to mind.
Since you can see the MAF sensor inside the intake tube could I spray the electrical cleaner on the sensor without disassembling everything?

Yeah but MAF cleaner is some pretty harsh stuff.
Just a thought, could it weaken the intake tube plastic?

On newer truck I wouldn't worry but on a 10 year old intake that maybe a valid concern.

IDK, and I'm not a chemical engineer, but based on the MSDS, it won't help the plastic last longer.
Obviously it's also HIGHLY flammable.
