Ok so I lifted the 450 finally. Its a 4.5 inch Icon with with 5 inch blocks in the back. I took it for its first ride last night and not even getting into it and I can feel the axle moving. So who makes custom ladder bars? Also keep in mind its a 450 so it has a square axle in the back instead of the normal round one.
Thanks
Nick
I thought we'd have a discussion on making them. If you're interested in learning, I sagest Herb Adam's book on chassis engineering. He speaks common through most of it so it's easy to follow.
There is quite a bit of info needed to get the right setup for every application. I'd personally look at the single point arms that get bolted below the axle and near the transmission yoke or Maybe a Y-bone upper or both. Rancho used to do a couple, Competition engineering was another company I looked at a few times.

Did you ask Icon?
They do fab work too.
Better yet, scrap those blocks and stock springs and get some Deavers (I beleive that's who Icon offers as a optional upgrade to your kit.

No one makes a kit for the 450 rear leafs yet cause its different than the 350's
