i've got an 87 f 250 xlt lariat and need to know what the max weight i can load in the box is
i know the gvw is 8800 pounds and the rear axle max weight is round 6500 pounds
how do i find the weight i can load it with?

Get your truck weighed, fully loaded with every day cargo, full fuel tank(s), and passenger(s). Subtract this number from the 8800.
