I did a mod on the truck the other day and thought I would share with everyone. I tinted the windows, I did the fronts with 20% and they were a little darker than the back so I did the rear doors with 35% and did the slide 20% to make it darkest, heres a pic.
Anybody else doing anything?
Delaware Window Tint Law
Delaware Tint Law Enacted: 1992
HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN DELAWARE?
Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Delaware, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.
Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window Any darkness can be used
That's from the link George put up.
According to it,,you could have 20% buts it looks like threes no way that would pass! lol
Mine will pass because I have a medical tint waiver other wise it would fail, you have to allow 70% of light in on the front windows which is pretty close to what your front windows are stock, Mine allow about 15% now with what I added and the stock tint LOL
Also from Georges link...
Medical Exemption - State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.
