Question What Happened?

I just saw a C*vy commercial and it made me sick. It said "No one sells more trucks." How did they outsell Ford? I have personaly seen how poorly Ch*vy trucks are put together. Do people not care about quality anymore? Oh well, I guess 25 years is long enough.

I think what you saw was the GM commercial. It would be hard to beat a conglomerate of Chevy, GMC, etc. Also with trucks including SUV's, pickups, etc. I am not suprised that they out sell Ford F-series. But who cares, they are comparing apples and oranges. This is why i hate advertising. They only play for the stupid people.

What Happened?

I was refering to Chevy. I know it's not a big deal but I wanted Ford to hold the best selling truck title for more years in a row.

What Happened?

SAR Ranger is right- what they're doing is combining the sales of ALL the GM truck-type vehicles. When they say they sell the most trucks, they're including the Pontiac Aztek, Buick Rendevous, Saturn VUE, etc... When Ford advertises, they're talking about individual market segments: the F150 is the best-selling full-size truck, the Explorer is the best-selling mid-size SUV, the Ranger is the best-selling compact truck, etc... GM will do ANYTHING at this point, considering they've lost market share EVERY YEAR since 1966!
