im sure youve heard the whole deal about black smoke being bad, so Ill skip that. I turned mine up about 1.5 flats, and get a little black smoke when I get heavy in the throttle, or if I lug the engine a little. I suggest putting in a pyro before playing with the fuel. Pistons start melting at 1250*f.

non working gauges are probly bad connections somewhere. Pyro=pyrometer, a guage that measures the exhaust gas temperatures.

id go to an exhaust shop and tell them what you want. Or you can do my method, and grind and cut and hammer and cuss until the pipe fits halfway decent lol. 2.25 to 4 inch was hard to do that way, I wouldnt attempt it with 5 inch.
