dipstick relocation in 390

dipstick relocation in 390
I'm changing out my oilpan and need to relocate the dipstick to the proper location for a 2wd truck (390) (in the block). I have a new dipstick and tube ordered. My question is how to remove the plug that's currently in the block eliminating the dipstick tube hole location. Thanks for your help.
