Anyone here used a little shot of Nitrous on the V10? Im curious to see what impact it would have on ten cylinders. Ive used nitrous in the past and a ferm beliver in it if it is installed right with enough fuel and supporting goodies.

There was a guy back in '99/'00 over that had a MONSTER of a truck. He had a huge lift, supercharger AND nitrous on his V10 Superduty. I've also seen one or two posts about "juicing" a V10 at TDS.

The V -10 uses the same NOS kit as the Mustang Cobra, and yes it does work rather well.
It is best used with a 2 wd truck, as the transfer case internals do not like a sudden hard hit of an extra 125 hp or so. Please do not ask me how I know!
If you need extra power for towing or just want to be different, go with a belt driven supercharger.

It sure pegged the fun meter. More than a few people got a good view of my tail gate. As far as a daily driver goes, sure. The main thing to keep in mind with nitrous on something you really care about is the "sane" manner in which it is used. Burn the tires from every stoplight, trash every import you see, dust your neighbor's off brand and I assure you that the price will be paid concerning the driveline of the vehicle.
I have used nitrous since 1980 and have learned about it the hard way,but still use it. The kit came off the truck when it was sold and went on the Cobra I bought.
