starter bolts?
Needing some info please.
Im kinda stuck in a bad spot and trying to take my starter off.
Anyone know how many bolts and what size they are?
From feeling around it seems like theres 2 and they are diffrent sizes?

Actually there are 3 bolts in a PSD starter, but mine only has 2 in it (the bottom 2). They are the same size. The top one was apparently left out by the PO at some point in time (it is a PITA to remove and replace), but it has not affected the performance of the starters that I have had. I cannot remember what size socket the bolts need.

Same on my '03. IIRC they are either 17mm or 19mm. It is a good idea to periodically check them as they are known to back themselves out over time.
