It's awesome. I just drove it from the Souther tip of the baja back to Colorado. It had about 1000 lb in the bed doing an 75 to 85 the whole way and got 17.5 mpg.
I have taken it wheeling twice on bald tires since I had it and it definitely holds its own.
This weekend, I got a bug guard for $20, window vents for $20, and a triple gauge pillar pod for $20. Now I just gotta get some gauges. I also ran a bottle of BG244 which appears to have made things run smoother and imporved my efficiency even more. I am waiting for some more money for new tires, exhaust, and intake... Then Gauges and chip down the road along the ccv and other mods
Any way... Not trying to go on forever, just expressing my PSD joy and waiting to satisfy my PMS. Some pics
Just a cool pic in the mud
Another nice water pit
You can see my bald tire tracks from the previous passage through it the previous night
And then where she got stuck on the pumpkins due to poor line choice. Had to jack it up with the stock jack and fill the rut with some trees and rocks to unstick it. As it was a spontaneous decision to go play, the only tools we had were bbq stuff, a mag light, and the jack... Super fun though. These pics were actually the day after. We were stuck from 10 pm to 12 pm the night before
And an aftermath picture
More Colorado Mountain pics to come as soon as the snow melts and i get some new tires
Yea, now if only I could avoid getting mine stuck in things like that, I won't even try it, been stuck twice in my truck, once in my front yard in about a foot of compact snow and once in the allay way, it was soggy, both times had to get pulled out, first time by a Toyota, second by a cheby with big tires and a 10K wench. He sunk a log into my back yard just trying to pull me out. The log was under his tire to keep him from moving backwards.
wish i caould share the joy, but sadly mine is 2wd. this is when i miss my blazer with 16" of lift and 42's. but oh well i like my psd better. the more u upgrade the more you will love it.
i love my truck a lot glad you love yours, just wonted to know how deep was the water you drove thew.
I believe about midway up the doors. It was definitely over the bumper
