external trans filter kits ?

Any idea on the better kits that are out there? I want to get on for my truck, and my truck will be a guiney pig for the trucks at the firehouse.

I did find one with a guage on it, but no that confident on that one. Most of the others are nothing more than a remote oil filter kit you use on most sb 350 engines. Anyone have experience with the differnt ones out there?

Out of curiosity, how many transmission filters did the gauge give you an indication of a need to change?

Did you ever cut one open to see what it was trapping?

I have always believed that anytime you have to pull an auto transmission to work on something, you should put something like this in the cooler return line.

MAGNEFINE COOLER LINE FILTER Racer X

The idea behind it is to catch anything that may be trapped in the lines or cooler or somewhere from whatever old part had problems so you don't mess up the new parts.
