Well im not sure why or how but when i bought this truck i figured out that the front driveshaft is rubbing, now to figure out how to fix this. Any Ideas?
first check the motor mounts to make sure they haven't collapsed or broken causing the drivetrain shift thats making the header contact the driveshaft.
if they are good theres not much you can do except modify the header or replace it with a different style header for clearance.
Oh ok that makes really good sense but if my motor mounts are crap do you think i could use a tie down to pull the header collector towards the frame or do you think that would strip out my header bolts?
yeah theres also that problem, it doesnt drive and isnt gonna drive for a few more months to come.....but i will have that done when it does! and no the motor mounts are good on it. Thanks Dentleman!
