Hello all!
Another question on the '74 360 into '78 F350 swap I am doing.
I got down to getting the engine ready to pull and found another "little" problem to deal with.
Seems the the Z bar pivot ball is mounted on a 351m/400 specific bracket that bolts to the aft face of the bellhousing, using the engine/bellhousing bolts.
I guess I need an FE specific bracket to go on the 360 bellhousing to make this work.
Are those as hard to find as the rest of the stuff I finally laid hands on?
Would anyone have a fab drawing from which to build one?
Thanks,
Mike

I ran into this same problem when I put a 302 into a 78 F100 that had 300 6cly . You are going to have to find a truck that has a FE engine in it . It could be a 4X4 truck or a two wheel drive 3352 or 390 the braket is the same . hope this helps
