Strange issues with glow plugs.

The 94 or 95 Power Stroke, yes you need to swap the complete wiring harness.
Lots of sensors, computer, electronic throttle.
However the IDI engine only needs one wire to the fuel shut off solenoid to run.
Yes a couple more wires make it easier to start, but it will run with just one wire.
One wire and a Power Stroke would never fire.

I know your budgeting rather tightly, however them glow plugs are more than likely going to cost you much much more ... Ask me how I know!
I was heavily warned, I am now paying the price!
If you don't have 8 good working glow plugs the controller will not function correctly, it relies on the resistance of the glow plugs as they heat, it is a combined resistance therefore just one bad glow plug will throw it off kilter, two pretty much makes it useless.
