you cant use the 78-79 tracbar mount because were it bolts to is not flat on the 80-96 f-150's. the 78-79 frame rail is nice and flat right next to the coil support, thats were the bracket bolts to.
that area is where the frame starts to get rounded and twisted so the steering box can match up to it.
thats why i was asking about the F-250 mount, i am thinking it has the same frame rail, so the tracbar bracket is made to fit it precisely.
I've seen a 78-79 track bar mount work great on a '93 F150, so I know it can be done. I don't know if an F250 mount would work. What year F250 are you talking about?
