Breaks locking up after driving

Had the rear drum breaks done on my 98 this past weekend by the neighbor and now when I drive the truck for a while when slowing or coming to a stop i press the pedal and the rears seems to lock briefly and release. They also feel like they are dragging. Could they be adjusted to far out?

It sounds more to me like he put the shoes on wrong. The shoe with the larger surface area goes in the rear. Take one wheel and drum off and see if they aren't backwards.

Problem fix. They were adjusted to far out and the self adjust just make them adjust further out causing them to lock.
