I have a 2005 F250. I long ago installed a RDS auxilary tank in the bed and I am now wondering if I could get a fuel sensor to put into the tank that I could wire into the factory gauge. Does any one know of one that would work and could be wired into the factory gauge? Anyone know the resistance that our gauges work on? I found one post that says something like 15 - 160 ohms.
I have an electric valve that controls wich tank I use via a toggle switch. The valve I believe can be wired for the fuel gauge so you can read both tanks.
