Do you have a good front axle? By good, I mean straight with good, stock sized king pin holes.

I have a few axles with the spindles still on them Steve. I'm not sure of the condition of the king pin hole they have. I see you are in California and the cost to truck freight one there would be problematic. I suggest put a wanted ad on the classified section here. Since so many on here have changed their trucks to IFS, there is bound to be someone on here that would give you a good deal on one close to where you could drive and pick it up.

 

Thanks James. The same thought occurred to me regarding the IFS swap resulting in these old axles laying about around the country. I put up a feeler on the WTB section.

Bobs F-100 in Southern California has one, plus I'm attending a big swap meet in Turlock on Saturday. Maybe one will turn up.

Do you have a tailgate or inside rear view mirror for a 56 f100? Also looking for a steering wheel, and bed wood.

James, The only 55 emblems I have have the ford script broken off the front of them.
Shafif, I have no good 56 mirrors, steering wheels, or wood.I do have a decent tailgate but it has two little holes in it that would need to be filled where someone mounted a license plate. $45.00 but it would cost $55.00 to ship to Cal. So probably too costly for you. There is a NOS one on Ebay now. Type in 1953 F100 on ebay.

 

Green machine, I have a few good sections of F100 running boards that are otherwise not good enough to sell if that would help you.

I've got a real decent one I'd let you have for $225.00. You'd have to drive up here to get it.
