Ignition Switch
Hey all.
Got a question, Has anyone else had terrible luck with ignition switches with my 67. They keep falling apart at the back of the switch. Its shorted out one of the wires twice now when it happens. They stay together for about two months then fall apart
. Anyone else have this issue? and how did you solve it?

I had one that I replaced fail also. I think some of the replacements are poor quality. The original lasted almost 40 years and the replacement lasted about two years. I don't know if Ford still offers a replacement, but if they do it may be worth the extra money.

The reason the switches you are buying are falling apart is...they are made in China CRAP!
The quality of parts is akin to oats. There are fresh oats you can buy in feed stores, and then there are those you find on the road...after a horse passes by.
