Nitto Mud Grappler
#21
I have the Nitto Mud Grapplers on my F350. Loud as hell going down the road! The sound is much like a swamper but with a higher pitch. My wife says it sounds like a small single prop airplane taking off and flying down the road. They worked out great in the snow for me to plow with in 3' snow drifts, and in the mild offroad I've been crossing fields to pick up stuff, they have done what I've wanted them to do. This isn't my wheeler so I don't need a really aggressive tire. If I want to play in the mud, I'll pull the ranger out with the 39.5 cut boggers!

First of all, I wonder if his radio is a piece of ****. If my cd player was 3/4 you don't need to worry about tire noise. Hell, you can't hear much of anything. Also, I assume you are not trying to say BFG A/T's are mud tires lol.
Maybe one of the best. But not the best. I can think of many other tires that are better then those. Swampers are mud tires. The pavement noise won't bother you if you stop driving that thing on the street.

I took the BFG KM2 off road into some slick wet clay for the first time today. They seemed to stick really well. I didnt even slip a tire. I was easing right through stuff that one of our big compactors with ag tires was bogging down in.
So far they are awesome. More rain for the rest of the week, so i should be able to give better mud performance reports in a few days.
