warm up bogging....

its a 302 5.0
pullys headers(long tubes)

ok so at first warm up theres alittle bogging

im only pulling 2 codes fuel pump open circuit (my relay is bypassed dont ask why.... thats not the problem

and an ect/act -40F or open circuit

confused >.>

Sounds like you need to replace the engine coolant temp sensor.

but then again wouldn't my ECT not working make my gauge not work? my guage always reads what i assume to be correct

Nope, there's one sensor with a multi pin plug, that's for the PCM. There's a separate temp switch that is a sending unit for the gauge.

What were the codes? ECT is engine coolant temp, ACT is air charge temp. Two different sensors....
