Thats what I am realizing real quick.. Some of those sites listed above have many who have pieced together their own, and after seeing what they charge for a system, it would take putting enough miles on the truck 10 motors over to get a value! LOL!

I see many are using hot water heaters, home improvement supplies and just lots of inexpensive materials.. I like this more not only because of cost, but I may learn a lot more as I go doing it myself!

Making one yourself if you have the resources is the absolute best way to go. My processor and wash tank are 55 gallon drums. The biggest expense is in the ball valves, at $6-$9 each. My processor uses 9 of them. Feel free to look at my processor set up in my albums. I have probably the most basic of set ups, but it works well for me.

Think the hardest things are finding good oil and a place to get rid of the Glycerol...

Yeah, I hear many talking about that.. I am checking into some info that some are seperating their methoxide mix and glycerol and getting just soap out of it, and re-using the soap in other applications.. Dont know enough yet about it, but sounds interesting!

If need be, I have plenty land to burry what I have left over, as it is biodegradable!
