Scan Guage User's

Do any of you that watch ECT use a X-guage command for it, if so please post all values. Or do you use the canned ECT that comes pre programmed,
Thanks Rich

Sounds like a stuck t-stat or wrong formula in the program.

I use the canned ECT, and Xgauge EOT. Morning check, ECT 57f EOT 57f. Just for fun, the other night I plugged in the block heater.

Ambient air 51f, ECT 137f - EOT 127f

Why a housing? Do you have that much corrosion?

I wanted to replace the thermostat a while back because I suspected then , and when I had it apart I couldn't get the thermostat out of the housing and was afraid of damaging it and wouldn't be able to use the truck until I replaced it, so I just put it all back together. Now after all the other work is done and still not seeing proper temps, i'm going back after the thermostat in one clean sweep so it's easy and painless, plus my buddies a Blue Oval Parts Guy...
No corrosion wasn't bad but the damn thing was just stuck in there?? and i didn't want to beat on it.

Place the housing in a vice, push down on the t-stat and turn. Like a bayonet connector.

replaced thermostat and now reads 193 to to 195 deg. under normal temps ,fixed...
anyone have any ideas why eot woud read 202 to 209 ?
Dealer rebuilt oil cooler , replaced egr cooler, flushed cooling system , new eot, and ect sensor, and did oil change and filter w/ dino. What else would cause a higher eot reading ? Any Idea's...

Thanks Rich
