Trans problem /w rollback

I had an issue a few months back when I took a trailer full of brush to the town dump. I was on a slight incline and the truck started to roll backward. All of this was in drive by the way. More recently it did it again at a stop, this time without the trailer. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks.

it'll do that if its a high enough grade or you've got enough weight involved.....keep in mind an auto transmission doesn't have a solid direct link to the engine.....if you overcome the torque put out at idle, you'll roll backward a bit....

Also, the idle on these newer trucks is much lower than previous versions in an effort to improve fuel economy. This will allow the rear roll easier at idle. The owner's manual states that you should never use engine power alone to keep the truck stopped on an incline. Use your brakes.

All cars will roll back on a steep, but in the past few years some car makes have a anti roll back where it will pick up the engine idle

but leting it roll back will cause no issuse or damage
