OK i must have drove 5 different super duty trucks and mine is the roughest riding truck out there.I fill every bump on the road even when i did my leveling kit it still road the same.My friends truck that has a 9" lift and rides way better then mine.If you were to leave your head on the head rest you will definitely have a head ache.I install new 5100's Bilstiens on all four corner and it still road the same. What causing this ride.BTW 305/70/16
I don't want to sound flippent, but. my truck seem to bounce you everywhere... until.... I put air in the tires. I ran them at 50 psi for a couple of years and then I looked on the tire... it said 80psi.... bumped it up and it made a heck of a difference

i had mine @80psi now i have them @50 and it rides a lot better now,I think my truck is one of a kind probably totally opposite of everyone else.
Chris tires makes a big difference too. They absorb the shock first then it transfers through the suspension. Air pressure should be at recommended psi for the tire to perform at it's best.....and some other things too.
When I had it at the recomended psi(80) it was to hard and it would be all over the road even more when it's raining. That's why I lowered the pressure to 50 but it's still hard riding.
My 2002 F350 is starting to ride rough even with shocks a year old. I think as stated above, old/worn tires can also cause a rough ride. I think when I get some new tires it will help the ride quality.
