1995 powerstroke

Depend on where the truck is located definitely check 4x4. My truck spent most of its life on the road in arizona so I don't think 4x4 was used much. I got it during the winter (Ohio) and when it put it in 4x4, the transfer case self destructed.

I talked to the seller and he doesnt know much about the truck. He doesnt know why the motor was rebuilt. Says that it used to be an auto but was converted to manual. He doesnt even know if it is a powerstroke or not. And it has 350,000 miles on the chassi. show I still go look at it even under these conditions? Keep in mind I dont know much about diesels.

Not a bad looking truck. If you could talk him down a little bit since he doesn't know the history of the truck and you expect to put a little work into it, it looks like a decent buy. 3 grand for any 4x4 that runs is usually a pretty good buy. Doesn't look too rusty either.
Drive it and if it shifts ok and runs ok, I say go for it. It looks a little rough but the price seems pretty good.
Edit... Wait... Where is the turbo. The cover says turbo but I dont see one. I know its down a little behind. Maybe the shadow is throwing me off.
Now that I look at mine, i bet its just being masked by the shadow.

yeah the IDI motor has a completely different set up, thats deffinetly a stroker! little conserned why it was rebuilt thoe, you dont hear that to offten in these trucks
