I recently swapped transmissions with a friend of mine. I have a 2003 F350 lariat crew cab long box 7.3 powerstroke. It had an automatic i swapped my buddy for the manual he had in his 2003 F350 XLT Super cab 7.3 powerstroke. During this process we swapped computers, steering colums, dash, and dash wiring harness. I also had to run a hot wire from the starter to the clutch saftey switch so it would start. The problem i have now is that the cruise control does not work! I took it to the ford dealer and they told me it was the clock spring, well i replaced that and it did not work. Anybody out there got any ideas it would help a bunch cause we are at a standstill. By the way the truck runs great actually even better than it did with the automatic.
Thanks
Man, you guys sure did a heck of a lot of work. Why didn't you just trade trucks? . Check the pressure sensor on the brake master cylinder. If that goes out, the cruise will not work.
