WONDERING HOW BIG OF LIFT WILL CLEAR 38X15.5X15 SUPER SWAMPERS? IM RUNNING A 6" RIGHT NOW BUT I DONT THINK IT WILL CLEAR...ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD HELP...
You should probably tell everyone what kind of vehicle it is. Is this a geo metro? You probably do need more than 6 inches of lift on a metro to clear 38's.

Always include truck info.........
Even if you have a signature.
F150s usually will take an 8 inch lift.
6 inches will be good for 35s.
How are you going to use the truck? Daily driver, etc.
BTW, donʻt let anyoneʻs harsh responses keep you from asking questions.
Keep the questions coming.
dont worry this isnt the first forum i have been a part of i know how ppl are. or would it be better just sticking with the 6" lift and adding a 3" body lift?
In my opinion, the guys are probably right about sticking with 35's if you have half ton axles and are actually going to wheel the truck. Now, that being said, I have 38's on my F250 with only a 4" lift and a tiny little piece of the bumper trimmed off. Now, I wouldnt really run 38's on this truck either on the trial with my front axle, but since the dana 60 swap is on the horizon, I really dont care. Also, it would depend on the actual tire you want to run. My "38 inch tall" mud grapplers run a little short as the tape measure puts them at like 36 1/2" tall.
I also want to run a bigger tire. Just not as large as Y'all. I have a 93 F250 and Im running 245/70/16 right now but want to run as big as the fender can hold. I know it depends if I have a lift or not. What I am trying to figure out and search for is what the ride height is with no lift and with a 3" lift. I almost want to say it does have a 3" lift on it but it may not. so if anyone can tell me what the ride heights are I would appreciate it
Just thought id post a pic of my lift. Its a 4 inch suspension and 3 inch body with 35's. I could probably fit 38's in the wells.

I agree about not going any bigger on the tires, besides the 5.0 will hate it.
I can testify to the fact that the 5.0 does not do well with tires bigger than 35's, heck it didnt even do well with the 35's I had and I have 4.10's. Slooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww................. .
