will 285/75r16 fit on 2wd stock
im looking to get some new tires and i would like to fit a 285/75r16 on there. its stock 2wd with 265/75 on there right now. i think they would fit and does anyone have any pics of their truck running them

x2 I was going to say...I got new tires in February. I asked for 265 75r16 and the guy tried telling me that 285's would fit all around and he'd cut me a good deal. So i says if they fit I'll take em. Well 2 hrs later he called to tell me they rubbed so the answer to your question would be no. Now that is dependent on a few things. My truck is F 250 4x4 stock wheels, bumpers, and no lift. They should fit a F 350. They may also fit a 250 with some slightly offset wheels. Worst case, try them, they rub, swap to another size. Problem solved. OR lift your rig !

thanks for the replys. i figured that they would rub the radius arms. thats no biggie. i might just stick to 265/75 since they dont make a bfg commercial in a 285. im leaning towards the commercial or a transforce by firestone. what do yall think on them?

1992 f250 2wd will 285.75.16 fit without lift
I bought a set of 315. 75.16. Thought i can put on leveling kit to fit but a guy said it still wont fit.
so i still have those. But i found a pair of 285.75.16
and i want to know will they fit .and do they make leveling kits for my style truck

On my ‘95 2wd the 285s fit with no rubbing but I had aftermarket wheels. I couldn’t find a leveling kit specifically for the F250/F350 2wd trucks, but I found out that the spring diameter was the same as some F150 4x4s, so you might be able to find something that will fit.
