3" Tailpipe, '98 Expy

Posted this in the Exhaust section but no reply yet so I thought I'd ask here also.

I'm looking at getting a new muffler and would like to replace the standard 2.25" inch tailpipe with a 3" version. From what I can find, only Dynomax makes a 3" tailpipe for my truck but its for the non-air suspension version. I'm not sure the difference between the air suspension pipe and the non-air suspension pipe but there must be some. Its a bit difficult to compare parts without having some sort of measurement stats in hand.

Anyways, does anyone know if that pipe from Dynomax will work on the 5.4 w/air suspension (though removed) or if another company makes a direct fit 3" tailpipe?

BTW, I intend on getting the 18" WickedFlow Max muffler. I know I'll have to extend the outlet pipe a bit to match up but that shouldn't be an issue.

Thoughts and/or suggestions?

Thanks!
